Website design & development fulfillment: From ₹0 to 8 websites in 10 months
A full-service marketing agency started offering website design & development as a white-label service, launching 8 client websites and increasing lead conversion by 67% for their clients.
Context and constraints
Rohan's full-service agency in Mumbai had 20+ active clients and steady recurring revenue, but they kept losing deals when prospects asked for website redesigns. Building an in-house dev team would have meant 5-6 hires and a long ramp. They needed a way to offer web delivery without the hiring risk.
Baseline and data sources
We gathered baseline conversion rates from GA4 and lead attribution from their CRM. We also ran Lighthouse audits on three existing client sites to document performance issues. Baseline averages: 1.9% conversion rate, 3.5s average page load, and high drop-off on mobile.
What we delivered (first 10 months)
Instead of one-off projects, we set up a repeatable delivery system:
- Discovery workshops to define goals, scope, and success metrics.
- A shared design system and page templates for faster builds.
- A standardized tech stack (Next.js, Contentful, Vercel, GA4).
- A QA checklist that covered responsiveness, SEO basics, and forms.
- Post-launch monitoring and 30-day optimization sprints.
What we kept steady
We did not change client ad campaigns or email funnels during the first launch period. That kept conversion comparisons clean.
Results after 10 months
Eight websites launched on time and within budget. The average lead conversion rate improved by 67% across the first 90 days post-launch, and mobile performance improved materially.
- Websites delivered: 8 (Dec 2025 to Sep 2026)
- Avg lead conversion lift: +67% (GA4, 90-day post-launch)
- Avg page load time: 1.8s (Lighthouse, mobile)
What did not work
One early site tried to migrate a legacy CMS with heavy plugins. It slowed delivery and introduced bugs. We paused the migration, rebuilt the front end, and kept the legacy CMS only for archival pages. That decision reduced issues and kept the launch date intact.
How to cite these results
Measurement period: 10 months (Dec 2025-Sep 2026). Conversion lift measured in GA4 comparing 90-day pre and 90-day post windows. Page speed from Lighthouse mobile audits. Lead quality derived from CRM qualification tags.
Takeaway
The impact came from making web delivery repeatable and measurable. Once the agency had a predictable process, websites became a reliable revenue stream instead of a risky add-on.
"From web design to ongoing support, RankerNet handled everything. Our clients are thrilled with their new sites and conversion rates. We went from losing opportunities to being able to offer complete end-to-end solutions. That's completely changed our positioning and revenue."
